Our Mission
Our current linear economy relies upon the over-extraction of raw materials, consumerism, and the premature disposal of goods. As a result, some people discard usable possessions for new or different ones while others do without.
The St Louis Free Store redistributes quality items from those who don’t use them to people who will. In this way, our work promotes a circular economy of shared goods and embodies values of equity, mutual aid, and sustainability..
Donation Information
We accept gently used furniture that is still functional and can fit in a car, toys, kitchen appliances and utensils, craft supplies, camping equipment, school supplies, books, and more!
You can reach out to donate anytime! Feel free to bring your donations on the day of the pop-up as well.
Update: We can now accept hygiene products, and canned food!
Please note: Donations are accepted between 12 PM - 1:30 PM. If you are donating clothes, the limit is 1 bag per person/group.
